LadyKillers: BBC Sounds / BBC Radio 4

Producer: Oct 2021 - present

I produced multiple episodes (including two international recordings) of the historical narrative programmes investigating Victorian murderesses from a contemporary feminist perspective. I also produced an episode of the new related series, Lady Swindlers, looking at conwomen.

I produced the weekly flagship science programme on BBC Radio 4, working with colleagues to try new formats for the show. I also produced the Christmas and New Year specials.

I was responsible for sourcing and recording listener questions worldwide for The Evidence, collating and editing them for the final programme.

I supported the Producer shaping the series, helping develop episode structure and content, conducting research, briefing chats and writing briefs. I also provided voiceovers for the final programmes.

Africa Life Clinic: BBC World Service Africa

Assistant Producer: Dec 2020 - April 2021

I coordinated the production of the three weekly health radio shows and podcasts with the UK based Producer and Editor, and the team based in various locations across Africa. I was also responsible for producing social media clips, editing recordings and sourcing African stories and contributors.

I produced multiple items to tight broadcast deadlines on a range of topics, from fostering refugees to women's football. I also produced interviews with high profile guests such as best-selling author Zadie Smith.
