I work on a variety of programmes for BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service, The Economist and on a range of podcasts for independent production companies for Audible and the BBC. I have produced programmes, items and reports on an incredibly diverse range of topics, from #freeperiods to gravitational waves.
Most recently I have produced a special two-part programme on coastal erosion for the BBC World Service series CrowdScience, recorded on location in Florida and Puerto Rico, USA. I have also produced the flagship Radio 4 science programme BBC Inside Science and multiple episodes of LadyKillers with Lucy Worsley for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds, including recording on location in Ohio and Massachusetts.
I have also worked on a range of current affairs programmes, such as Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4 and the Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2, as well as independent podcasts such as the award-winning series The Last Bohemians.
As a reporter, I have worked from the extremes of both a giant freezer and a heat-chamber, as well as multiple science labs and theatres across the country. I have a particular interest in the science-arts crossover, evidenced by the packages I have produced covering technology-art crossover at the Nam June Paik exhibition at the Tate Modern or with the choreographer Alexander Whitley and his work exploring the human / digital relationship.
With a First Class Honours in BSc Geography from Durham University, and Distinction in MSc Science Media Production from Imperial College London, I am an experienced science communicator. I actively seek fresh and engaging stories to create captivating, informative and entertaining programmes to bring audio to life.
Originally from Edinburgh, I am now based in London. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, theatre, playing netball, and travelling.
I enjoy working on a range of projects - if you’d like to find out about how we could work together, please get in contact via the button below.
